LOCAL Government Minister John Bowler became the third cabinet minister to be sacked after revelations of his links to lobbyists Brian Burke and Julian Grill were aired at the Corruption and Crime Commission inquiry this week. The CCC heard Mr Bowler leaked a confidential committee report to lobbyist Julian Grill, then made changes to it based on feedback from Mr Grill’s client, Precious Metals Australia, helping the mining company win a $20 million lawsuit against Swiss-based company Xstrata.
