Board Moves September 24, 2021

Arcadia Minerals has appointed experienced mining engineer Andrew Law as non-executive director, and Joseph van den Elsen has resigned from the board due to increasing work commitments. Mr Law has over 35 years of experience in the mining and resources industry within Australia, Africa and South America. He also has extensive technical and management experience from deep level underground mining environments to large open pit, mineral sands mining and dredging environments.

Ben Martin will replace Sue Wilson as joint company secretary of Iluka Resources. Mr Martin has been with Iluka Resources since March 2014 and is the senior legal advisor.

Surefire Resources has reappointed company accountant Rudolf Tieleman as company secretary, following the resignation of Neville Bassett. Mr Tieleman was the company secretary prior to Mr Bassett.

WestStar Industrial has appointed its chief executive Robert Spadanuda as managing director. Mr Spadanuda spent the last 5 years as group CEO  and his appointment comes at a time when the company, through its subsidiaries SIMPEC and Alltype Engineering, experienced a significant increase in number and scale of contract awards. Following this appointment, Bert Mondello will depart from the board having been with the company since its inception.
