Board Moves September 23, 2020

Nicolaus Heinen, non-executive director of Alderan Resources since its IPO in 2017, has resigned from the board.

After 13 years as an independent non-executive director of Base Resources, Sam Willis will retire from the board on November 20. As part of the board’s succession plan, Janine Herzig has been appointed an independent non-executive director from October 12. Ms Herzig has 30 years of experience in the resources sector; encompassing executive management, consulting, technical and production roles across all commodities including industrial minerals.

One of Dacian Gold’s founding directors and foundation shareholder, Barry Patterson, will be retiring from the board at the upcoming AGM in November. Mr Patterson will remain a significant shareholder of the company.

Robert Marusco and Andrew Jones have been appointed non-executive directors of MEC Resources, replacing Andrew Bald and Anthony Hamilton who have resigned from the board. Mr Marusco has also taken over from Mr Bald as company secretary.

Nusantara Resources has appointed Claire Newstead-Sinclair as company secretary following the resignation of Derek Humphry as chief financial officer and company secretary at the end of the month. The company is transitioning to outsourcing the management of certain accounting and finance administration, including company secretarial services.

Diane Smith-Gander AO will be retiring as non-executive director of Wesfarmers at the conclusion of the AGM on November 12. Ms Smith-Gander will retire by rotation and will not seek re-election. She joined the board in 2009.
