Board Moves June 4, 2021

Imdex has appointed Michael Tomasz as joint company secretary. Mr Tomasz has been the general counsel of Imdex since May.

Pathfinder Resources has appointed Hugh Callaghan as non-executive director, and Jamie Myers has resigned from the board. Mr Callaghan is a geologist with significant global resources and ASX experience. He had held roles in the US, Canada, Chile, Brazil, and Australia. Mr Callaghan has been advising mining projects across base, precious metals and bulk minerals in the Americas; and led a team that built a silver, zinc and lead mine in Mexico.

Alison Laws has had to tender her resignation as chief executive of Resonance Health due to unplanned personal family obligations. She will remain with the company until early July and will provide consultancy services to the company when her personal circumstances permit. Since being CEO in February 2018, Ms Laws has achieved growth in sales volumes, revenues, cash at bank, and profitability for the company. Mitchell Wells will transition from a non-executive to an executive director’s role until further notice.

Former WA treasurer and Aboriginal Affairs Minister Ben Wyatt will be joining the board of Rio Tinto as non-executive director in September. His knowledge of public policy, finance, international trade and Indigenous affairs will contribute significantly at a time when the company is seeking to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in Australia and around the world.

Ian Tan-Kang has retired as a non-executive director of Tian Poh Resources. Mr Tan-Kang has been on the board since 2014.

Darren Holden has resigned as alternate director for Ian Murray at Todd River Resources.
