Board Moves July 1, 2021

Artemis Resources has appointed Simon Dominy as an independent non-executive director. Dr Dominy is a mining geologist-engineer with over 25 years of experience in mine operations, consulting and academia. He has worked on a number of gold projects in Australia (particularly in WA, QLD and VIC) and across Europe, the Americas and Africa.

Cash Converters International has appointed Henry Shiner as an independent non-executive director. Mr Shiner has extensive franchising experience and technical skills in information technology. Brad Edwards, general counsel and company secretary since 2017, has stepped down with current chief financial officer Leslie Crockett taking on the role of company secretary.

Michele Anderson has joined the board of Digital Wine Ventures as an independent non-executive director. Ms Anderson is a business executive focused on growth, digital transformation and operational leadership. She is recognised as one of the most influential women in Silicon Valley and in the global wine business, and was awarded the Master of Wine in 2011.  

Gascoyne Resources has appointed Hansjoerg Plaggemars as non-executive director. Mr Plaggemars is an experienced company director with a strong background in corporate finance, corporate strategy and governance across the mining, agriculture, shipping, construction and investments sectors.

IGO has appointed Michael Nossal as non-executive chair, taking over from Peter Bilbe who has transitioned to a non-executive director’s role. Mr Nossal joined the board in December 2020, and Mr Bilbe will formally retire at the end of the AGM planned in November.

LiveHire has appointed Kathryn Foster as an independent non-executive director. Ms Foster has a background in technology, particularly in the North American Market, with a 14-year career in Microsoft North America and a stint at Amazon Commerce Services. She moved to Australia in 2015 and has had board experience in ASX-listed technology companies.

Greg Cochran has resigned as chief executive of Reward Minerals. Current executive director Michael Ruane will undertake CEO duties pending the appointment of a replacement chief executive.

Susan Field has taken over from Grant Mooney as company secretary of Riedel Resources, with Mr Mooney remaining a non-executive director. Ms Field is a Chartered Accountant with over 27 years of experience in the corporate sector and in public practice.
