Board Moves December 17, 2020

Cycliq Group has appointed Michael Freibergy as chief product officer, with responsibility for all its suite of products in addition to the ongoing commercialisation of AIRhub, the world leader in on-road resistance training for cycling and triathlon which has been used by professional athletes. AIRhub was founded, invented and designed by Mr Freiberg. Cycliq also advised that Paul Claessen and Ben Hammond will be stepping down as co-chief executives on 15 February 2021.

Krystel Kirou has stepped down as company secretary of Oakajee Corporation and Santa Fe Minerals as she commences her maternity leave. Henko Vos has been appointed as her replacement.

Rio Tinto has appointed Jakob Stausholm as chief executive, effective January 2021. Mr Stausholm joined Rio Tinto as an executive director and chief financial officer in 2018. He is an experienced global executive, with 25 years in leadership roles in capital intensive and service industries across Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Following this appointment, Peter Cunningham will become interim chief financial officer. Mr Cunningham was the group controller of Rio Tinto and has held a number of senior finance and leadership roles in a career spanning 27 years with the company. Jean-Sebastien Jacques will step down from his role as executive director and chief executive, and will leave the group at the end of March.

Following its acquisition of Trivantage Holdings, a leading provider of specialised electrical services, Southern Cross Electrical Engineering has appointed Paul Chisholm to its board. Mr Chisholm is a significant shareholder and chair of Trivantage. He has over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry, including 10 years as a director of Trivantage.
