There are only a few more days to catch the match of the month at Must Wine Bar. Russell Blaikie’s team is pairing riesling and charcuterie until Sunday November 26 to shine a bit of light on the two. A select group of wines from Alsace, Germany, Austria, New Zealand and Australian (our local Frankland Estate) will be poured to match chef Andre Mahe’s fantastic charcuterie.

Vivacious Living has just opened in Riseley Street, Applecross. Catering for gourmet gift hampers with a penchant for local produce and wines, it’s designed to be a gift giver’s haven.

White Salt is continuing to make mouths water. A year on from its November 2005 opening, the Sorrento Beach restaurant and 2006 Gold Plate winner for best free-standing licensed cafe is doing a roaring trade.

Tim and Claire Leech’s passion for the beachfront restaurant shows, as does South African chef Darren Smith’s classical training.
