The Sail's Matthew Marinich was runner up for 'Beertender' of the year.
Also, Margaret River's Bootleg Brewery was judged to be the top microbrewery in Australia.
The Beer & Brewer Awards were launched in 2010 by Beer & Brewer magazine.
Over 2,000 nominations nationwide were received for this year's awards, which were judged by a panel of experts including beer writers, and experienced brewers, while also taking into account total sales and other industry awards.
