The Newspoll published in today's Australian Newspaper shows on a two party preferred basis 57 per cent of the 842 people surveyed support the Liberal-National Government.
This is an all time high since the Barnett Government scraped into power in September 2008.
Labor's primary vote dropped to 30 per cent, while support for the Coalition rose to 47 per cent, equal with its all-time high in March 2009.
Colin Barnett recorded his highest rating as preferred Premier with 61 per cent of respondents wanting him to run the state, up one point from the June Newspoll.
Opposition Leader Eric Ripper continued to poll badly down two points, with just 17 per cent of people surveyed believing he would make a better Premier.
Only 34 per cent of respondents were satisfied with Mr Ripper's performance as Opposition Leader.
