Austereo continues to dominate the radio ratings in Perth, but top rating station Mix 94.5 has lost some of its market share in the final Nielsen poll for 2010.
Mix 94.5 lost 0.6 per cent of its listeners in the September-October survey to fall to 16.6 per cent , still well clear of its nearest rival, sister station 92.9 which holds a 13.1 per cent market share, but also lost ground.
While Mix 94.5 lost ground over all, the 'Bunch" has taken back the coveted breakfast spot from 720 ABC Perth's Eoin Cameron.
The Bunch lost audience share, falling to 15.2 per cent, but Cameron took more of a hit, falling from 16.2 per cent to 14.7 per cent.
Fairfax Media's 6PR, 6IX and 96FM all significantly increased their listening audience in the eighth radio listening survey for the year.
6PR moved ahead of 720 ABC Perth rating 10 per cent and 9.7 per cent respectively.
In what is a slap in the face for management of Fairfax radio, outgoing morning's presenters Simon Beaumont gained 2.8 percentages points increasing his ratings to 10.9 per cent well ahead of 720's Geoff Hutchison who dropped to 9.2 per cent.
