AusGroup wins $30m desalination deal

Engineering group AusGroup has won a $30 million contract for the second seawater desalination plant at Binningup.

AusGroup subsidiary AGC Industries will carry out structural, mechanical and piping installation work for the Southern Seawater Alliance.

The expansion to a 100 billion litres-per year capacity is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The contract takes AusGroup’s order book to $432 million.
