Artemis issues $250K shares to uranium consultants

West Perth-based gold and base metals explorer Artemis Resources Ltd has issued shares worth around $250,000 to consultants in relation to its uranium projects in Niger.

Artemis finalised a deal with Tranfield Holdings Ltd for the acquisition of an initial 49 per cent stake in two projects with the ability to acquire up to 51 per cent n the joint venture.

Further to recent announcements on 4 September 2007 and 9 November 2007, Australian resources company Artemis Resources Limited (Artemis or the Company) advises that it has issued 1m shares to consultants in relation to its proposed Niger joint venture.

Further, the Company advises it has now issued 1,706,964 shortfall options to complete the nonrenounceable Loyalty Option issue pursuant to the Prospectus dated 4 September 2007. An Appendix 3B follows in relation to both issues.

Notice under Section 708A

The Company gives notice of the above issue of securities pursuant to section 708A(5)(e) of the Corporations Act 2001 (Act).

As required by section 708A(6) of the Act, the Company advises that:
1. the securities were issued without disclosure under Part 6D.2 of the Act;
2. this notice is being given pursuant to Section 708A(5)(e) of the Act;
3. the Company, as at the date of this notice has complied with:
(a) the provisions of Chapter 2M of the Act as they apply to the Company; and
(b) section 674 of the Act; and
4. as at the date of this notice, there is no excluded information for the purposes of sections
708A(7) and (8) of the Act.
