Our weekly appointments wrap includes Kate Glancy, Moshe Hukaylo, Andrew Francis, Bhavesh Morar and David Sumich. 

Kate Glancy has been appointed deputy president of the State Administrative Tribunal. Judge Glancy is a former deputy state solicitor, who worked for the State Solicitor’s Office for two decades, and sat on the bench of the district court for two and a half years. She will replace Tim Sharp who has returned to the District Court after serving more than 10 years as deputy president.

Drone Safety Systems company ParaZero has welcomed Moshe Hukaylo as chief financial officer. Mr Hukaylo is the owner and founder of Hukaylo Financial Management, and has more than 20 years’ experience in finance and audit with Deloitte. He currently acts as chief financial officer for various health and technology companies including Spetz and eSense-Lab.

Andrew Francis is joining Bardoc Gold. Mr Francis is a mining engineer with more than 15 years’ technical operational and management experience and previously worked for Northern Star Resources. 

DUG Technology has appointed Bhavesh Morar as chief financial officer. Previously a partner at Deloitte, Mr Morar offered assurance and advisory services, before joining BHP and progessing to senior finance leadership roles including head of finance for Nickel West. Mr Morar replaces Louise Bower who will continue as a non-executive director.

David Sumich has been appointed chief operating officer and chief financial officer, at both Lindian Resources and Volt Resources. Most recently, Mr Sumich was part of the development and production team at Rio Tinto at the Marandoo Iron Ore expansion in the Pilbara. He has previously been managing director of ASX-listed mining operations in West Africa including DMC Mining and Volta Mining.
