Our weekly appointments wrap includes Kathryn Maric, Dean Nalder and Mark Smith.

Panetta McGrath Lawyers has appointed Kathryn Maric as special counsel in its employment and workplace relations team. Prior to joining Panetta McGrath, Ms Maric worked at Kingston Reid, Coles Group and K&L Gates. Ms Maric advises on all aspects of employment, occupational health and safety and industrial relations law.

Former politician Dean Nalder will serve on the board of South Fremantle Football Club. Mr Nalder became the Member for Alfred Cove in 2013 and the Member for Bateman at the 2017 election. He was the shadow treasurer and shadow minister for energy before announcing his retirement from politics in 2020.

Kingsrose Mining has made Mark Smith chief financial officer, replacing Chloe Lam. Mr Smith has more than 20 years’ experience in financial and operational roles within the mining industry. Previous roles include chief financial officer and group financial controller for Centamin. He has also held the positions of commercial manager for Endeavour Mining and Lihir Gold.
