Hooper director at CME
The Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA has appointed Sarah Hooper as a director, to oversee the portfolio areas of economics and tax, people strategies and the Resources Industry Training Council. Ms Hooper will also oversee some regional operations. She is an experienced Australian diplomat and foreign policy expert, who most recently headed the political and economic section of the Australian High Commission in New Delhi, India.
Snowden recruits Bartlett
Engineering technology consultancy Snowden has appointed Ric Bartlett as group general manager -mining, based in Perth. Mr Bartlett was previously manager strategic mine planning at Fortescue Metals Group, has also worked at AngloGold Ashanti, Newmont Mining and BHP Billiton, and has run his own consulting business.
Jordan joins URS
Peter Jordan has been appointed as principal civil engineer for engineering and environmental services firm URS, to be based in Perth. Mr Jordan was most recently a senior project manager/major client manager for SKM, and prior to that was principal engineer/project director at GHD.
Amos to Cardno
Infrastructure and environmental services company Cardno has appointed Simon Amos as WA division manager. Mr Amos has previously held senior roles with John Holland, Leighton Contractors and Broad Group Holdings.
Golding joins Barringtons
PickUP Golding owner Phillip Golding has been appointed as director tax at accounting and business advisory firm Barringtons, following the merger of his firm with Barringtons last month. Mr Golding has worked across all aspects of tax including IPOs, acquisitions, mergers and spin-offs.
New Gilbert + Tobin hires
Law firm Gilbert + Tobin has appointed Phil McKeiver as partner and Fionn Bowd as a senior associate to its energy and resources practice. Both join the firm from Oakajee Port and Rail, where they held senior counsel roles. Mr McKeiver will be based in the Perth office, while Ms Bowd will divide her time between Perth and Melbourne.

Matthew Noonan-Crowe has been appointed as a senior associate at Valenti Lawyers. Mr Noonan-Crowe has over five years of commercial litigation experience in Perth.
Vincent to Access Analytic
Access Analytic has appointed Sean Vincent as senior business analyst. Mr Vincent returns to Perth after three years in Copenhagen and London working for AP Moller Maersk. He has also previously worked in corporate finance, risk management and accounting.

The St John of God Foundation has appointed Heiko Plange to the newly created position of fundraising manager, social outreach & advocacy. Mr Plange has previously worked for Brightwater Care Group and Endeavour Marketing.
