It is not often you come across an organisation that specialises in caring for people affected by the murder of a loved one. The end of the year has resulted in a shortfall of $100,000 in operational funding for angelhands, which does exactly that.
The organisation’s key partner recently pledged $50,000 if angelhands raised the balance. Angelhands provides traumatised men, women and children with safe people, programs and places to regain trust and hope.
It also promotes healing and full trauma recovery after an experience of assault, glassing, home invasion, murder, culpable driving or violence. It plans to raise the $50,000 in 50 days.
