In a move that will no doubt add to the credibility of its incontinence medical device known as the PeriCoach, ASX listed Analytica have cemented a distribution agreement in the UK with a leading retailer of pelvic floor products.
The PeriCoach system, which is designed to assist women who suffer from urinary incontinence to correctly exercise their pelvic floor muscles will now be distributed in the UK by Savantini Ltd.
Savantini have over 20 years experience retailing pelvic floor products in the UK via their leading brand Kegel8 and they also own the well known personal hygiene brand “Stressnomore”.
Savantini will join Elgenia Health, a newly constituted women’s health company who have also been appointed as a distributor for the PeriCoach in the UK.
Elgenia Health specialize in bringing state-of-the-art women’s health products to market for a wide range of health care professionals in London.
Founder of Elgenia Eleanor Gardner says: “We constantly strive to find new innovative products that will assist clinicians and enhance patient outcomes. We source new technologies and aspire to be at the forefront of pelvic health – it is for that reason, we have specifically chosen the PeriCoach system. Its’ very unique offering of being able to provide an online medical portal to support patients and clinicians fits in with our values of supporting healthcare professionals.”
Analytica says that nearly 9 million people suffer from bladder leakage in the UK alone making the UK a prime market for the company.
The sensors in Analytica’s PeriCoach device detect the force of muscle contractions in the pelvic floor area.
It then displays the results on a screen and they are then sent to a secure portal via a wireless connection where the data is stored and can be accessed by a chosen healthcare professional.
Claire Tobin Mercier, European Marketing Director of Analytica Medical said: “We launched in the UK only six months ago and wanted to create partnerships which would position us for success with our key target audiences in 2016. Women seeking solutions online to treat their Urinary Incontinence and Women’s Health clinicians are exactly the target audiences covered by our new partners - we are delighted to have established these agreements so early in the year.”
