Constellation Wines, the Australian subsidiary of US-based Constellation Brands, has confirmed it has put the Amberley Estate in Margaret River on the market.
In an emailed statement to WA Business News, Constellation Wines said that a number of interested parties had expressed interest in acquiring the property.
"Given the level of interest, it has been decided to explore the possible sale of the property, including the cellar door and restaurant. Should suitable offers be received, consideration will be given to concluding a sale," the company said in the statement.
"Wine industry broker, Gaetjens Langley has been engaged to market the estate and will advertise the property nationally as well as prepare an information memorandum for consideration by potential buyers.
"The Amberley Estate brand will be retained by Constellation Wines Australia. It remains very much business as usual at the restaurant and cellar door as well as throughout the trade."
