NEWS presenter Tina Altieri is on her way back to Perth following her appointment as temporary anchor on current affairs program ‘Today Tonight’.
Ms Altieri will host the program from October 13 until January, when regular presenter Monika Kos will return from maternity leave.
Since leaving Channel Nine at the end of last year, Ms Altieri has been commuting between Perth and Sydney, doing special features for Today Tonight, as well as working as an anchor for Sky News Australia.
She has also found time to fit in a number of public engagements, including hosting this year’s WA Family Business Awards.
Ms Altieri said she was looking forward to coming back to Perth, where she grew up and started her career with radio station 6IX.
