Allan HR head at Iluka

Iluka Resources Limited has formally appointed Geoff Allan as executive general manager human resources.

Mr Allan was appointed to the position in an interim role in November 2002, following the departure of former executive general manager human resources Geoff Weaver.

Geoff Weaver had held that role, together with community relations, and environmental, health and safety responsibilities, for just four months.

Mr Allan was initially a strategic human resources consultant to Iluka.

Iluka began reorganising its executive management team last July, after a review of company operations.

William Bissett was appointed executive general manager Australian operations in December.

He replaced Hamish Bohannan who left Iluka at the same time as Geoff Weaver.
