SCIENCE fiction fans are in for a treat this weekend with the Oz Comic-Con coming to Perth for the first time.
The pop-culture expo model derives from the original Comic-Con in San Diego.
It began in the 1970s as a convention for the appreciation of comic books as well as science fiction films and television programs, and has grown to include several other genres.
Oz Comic-Con began last year with events in Melbourne and Adelaide and this year it will feature Star Trek’s William Shatner, MacGyver’s Richard Dean Anderson and Jason Momoa, who recently played Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones.
