Perth-based IT consulting and services firm Ajilon is expanding its services to include recruitment through a merger with Icon.
With just under 600 employees, Ajilon is WA’s largest consulting firm and the fifth largest IT-focussed company according to WA Business News’ 2013 Book of Lists.
The company has announced it’s now merging with Icon – an IT recruitment firm – and will begin offering human resources services to clients under the Ajilon brand.
Both Ajilon and Icon are owned by the global human resources firm Adecco Group.
Ajilon managing director Ger Doyle said the merger put the company in an unprecedented position of being able to offer clients a holistic end-to-end service.
“This in itself is a clear differentiator for us,” Mr Doyle said.
“Additionally, the business will also be better placed geographically as our portfolio will become more balanced and reach more extensively across Australia.”
The combined business will now encompass a staffing base of around 1300 across the Asia-Pacific region.
