The first radio ratings survey for 2007 has revealed strong growth for the AM stations during the breakfast shift.
6PR's breakfast program, hosted by Millsy and Tony Mac, gained 3.9 percentage points, driving its market share into double figures with a 13.3 per cent share of the market.
The result was followed by Eion Cameron's ABC720 breakfast program, which gained 2.6 percentage points to increase its share of the market to 17.9 per cent.
The biggest loser in the breakfast slot was 96fm's breakfast show, hosted by Tony, Fitzi and Andrea. Their show sank 2.4 percentage points to account for a 7.9 per cent share.
Mix 94.5 maintained its mantle as Perth's number one radio station, gaining 1.2 percentage points to account for an 18.8 per cent share of the overall radio market.
Its closest rival is ABC720, which gained 2 percentage points during the survey period to gain a market share of 12.4 per cent.
