96fm tops Perth radio ratings

96FM has claimed top position in Perth's radio ratings, narrowly edging out second-placed Mix 94.5 and third-placed Nova 93.7. 

The results of the most recent Nielsen radio ratings survey show Fairfax Media-owned 96FM attracted 12.5 per cent of all audiences from July 7 to September 14, while Mix 94.5 attracted 12.2 per cent and Nova leapt 0.8 percentage points to 12.1 per cent.

National youth broadcaster Triple J, which topped Perth's radio ratings for the first time last month, slumped 1.8 percentage points to fourth place with an 11.2 per cent audience share while ABC720 rounded out the top five with 10.7 per cent of all audiences.

ABC720 maintained its lead in the breakfast timeslot, attracting  15.4 per cent of all audiences while Nova 93.7 attracted the highest weekend audience.
