Mix 94.5 has retained its lead as Perth’s favourite radio station while Triple J lost the most listeners, according to the latest radio survey.
In the last survey Triple J and Nova were in close competition for second and third place in the ratings, however Nova has since taken the lead with a 0.4 per cent increase in listeners aged 10 and over, knocking Triple J down the ladder as it lost 2 per cent of its listeners.
ABC720 also experienced a drop in listeners, down 0.4 per cent, but still managed to retain its lead over 6PR, which recorded a 1.1 per cent listener increase.
Triple J continued to dominate the 18-24 age group, however it lost nearly 6 per cent of its listeners, with mix 94.5 and Nova picking up 3.4 per cent and 2.3 per cent respectively.
6PR's new breakfast team of Steve Mills and Basil Zempilas has gained a following, with the biggest jump of listeners in the breakfast timeslot.
ABC720 held onto its lead as the favourite breakfast show, while 96FM overtook Nova for second place in the afternoon shift, tightening the gap behind mix 94.5.
