Mr Liu was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Norton Gold Fields in February 2019. He joined Zijin in 2003 and has held a number of senior management roles within Zijin Mining Group, including Deputy General Manager and Executive Director of Qinghai West Copper Co., Ltd, General Manager and Executive Director of Longnan Zijin Mining Co., Ltd. Mr Liu holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from China University of Geosciences and a Master of Environmental Engineering from Fuzhou University of China.
