Yan Zhao

Yan Zhao has been with Sentient Group since December 2008 where he was part of the investment team before becoming a partner in September 2017.

Prior to Sentient, Mr Zhao worked at Actis Capital in London where he supported and worked on a wide range of investments with a special focus on natural resources. He was also an auditor at KPMG where he was involved in due diligence work on several Chinese companies listed in Hong Kong.

Mr Zhao holds a Master of Science in International Finance from London Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from University of International Business and Economics in China. He also has certificate of CGA-Canada, ACCA and is a CFA level III candidate.
