Mr Crothers brings with him experience as the founder and CEO/director of a number of Australian businesses. He currently sits on the board of a number of companies in Singapore and Australia and is an experienced entrepreneur as well as a philanthropist. In 1989 he founded Pacific Medical Pty Ltd which was later acquired by LMA NV (a company publically listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange). In 2010 he was appointed Group CEO/director of LMA NV, retiring in 2014 after LMA was acquired by Teleflex (USA) (NYSE:TFX) in 2013. Between 1990 and 2016, he was co-founder and a director of Burra Foods Pty Ltd, a dairy ingredient processor focused on export markets in Asia, especially Japan. Mr Crothers remains a non-executive director of BioRevive Pty Ltd, a Melbourne-based distributor of natural and effective health brands he established in 2001. He is also a director of Cadi Scientific Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based hospital IT company. In 2016 he established a philanthropic foundation which he runs with his wife and his 3 sons. It is focused on education, justice, health and the environment.
