Wayne Sims

Wayne Sims has been a member of CPA Australia since 1979. He has been a principal in public accounting practice for almost 25 years advising on accounting, management, taxation and corporate affairs to a diverse range of business and professional clients. The first accounting practice was operated by Mr Sims for 14 years until it was sold in 1996. He spent three years with a property development company and then a four-year stint as head of dealing at a boutique stockbroking firm in Perth. In 2004, Mr Sims re-commenced public practice in East Perth and has specialised in providing taxation and management advice and consultancy services with a special focus on corporate advisory issues. The accounting practice engages seven experienced accountants to handle the accounting, taxation and management affairs of a varied client base. In the corporate consulting field, Mr Sims has provided strategic advice to public companies in the areas of capital structures, prospectus preparation, ASX listing rules, management of the IPO process, and assistance with the identification of projects, potential partners and joint venture opportunities.
