Vivienne Powe is a metallurgical engineer with corporate, investment and M&A experience.
Ms Powe has worked in the global mining & metals and oil & gas industries and has held senior executive positions at BHP, Iluka Resources, Woodside Energy and Renison Goldfields Consolidated. Those roles involved leadership of operations, feasibility studies, greenfield & brownfield development projects, corporate functions (strategy, corporate development, mergers & acquisitions, divestments, commercial) and joint ventures in complex business environments across a wide range of commodities (iron ore, aluminium, nickel, gold, mineral sands, tantalum, tin, oil and gas).
She was a member of the South Australian Resources Industry Development board and 100 Women advisory board.
Ms Powe holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgical Engineering, with Distinction) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from FINSIA, and a Master of Business Administration (Technology Management) from Deakin University. She is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
