ClearVue signs Murdoch MOU
Specialist glass company ClearVue Technologies has signed an agreement with Murdoch University to build a $1.6 million greenhouse at its campus.
Victor Rosenberg is a serial entrepreneur who is globally recognised for his contributions to glass industry. He has extensive business experience in senior management and sales, and has consulted to a number of private and public companies in the areas of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and health foods.
Mr Rosenberg is a qualified pharmacist with extensive business experience in senior management and sales related positions. He has been in the industry for over 25 years, having started and owned a number of private businesses in pharmaceutical, toiletries and food manufacturing sectors.
Mr Rosenberg has won an International Innovation Award in Germany for developments in food processing technologies.

Specialist glass company ClearVue Technologies has signed an agreement with Murdoch University to build a $1.6 million greenhouse at its campus.
West Perth-based ClearVue Technologies has launched the first commercial trial of its photovoltaic solar panel, with the glass structure installed at Warwick Grove shopping centre.

Solar tech company ClearVue Technologies is set to receive a $2 million grant through the state government’s Investment Attraction Fund to advance its manufacturing operations.
ClearVue Technologies looks poised to ride the rising green power revolutionary wave with its unique solar glass invention that converts sunshine into energy, courtesy of its technology that can be embedded into window glass. The glass panels can be used to self-power smart façades that automatically adjust light and ventilation to suit building occupants and also reduce the cost of lighting, cooling and heating.
ClearVue Technologies has signed a consultancy agreement with global engineering consultants Arup to further develop its Smart Façade panel concepts that incorporate the ASX-listed company’s clear glass solar panels. This work will develop four types of self-powered Smart Façades into concepts that can be supplied to selected manufacturers for prototyping and integration into mass production and assembly.
ClearVue Technologies has signed a memorandum of understanding with Taiwanese manufacturer BeyondPV to secure supplies of solar photovoltaic, or “PV”, strip modules. Under the agreement, BeyondPV will invest about USD$3.5 million to establish a dedicated production line to produce ClearVue’s solar PV strip modules, while carrying out research and development to improve ClearVue’s products and technology.

ClearVue Technologies has signed a Letter of Intent with Beijing Jinmao Green Building Technology Co. Ltd, owned by a subsidiary of China’s Sinochem Group Co, Ltd, to market and distribute its smart solar window glass panels in mainland China. The two companies will complete a trial construction project first by deploying ClearVue’s energy generating window panels ahead of negotiating a formal, possibly exclusive, distribution arrangement.
ClearVue Technologies has boosted the power output of its smart solar window glass panel prototype by a massive 33 per cent to 40 watts per square metre after enlisting help from solar specialist, D2 Solar, based in San Jose in California’s Silicon Valley. The uplift in power output cannot be overstated for the ASX-listed ClearVue and may be something of a game changer.
