Tricia Murray AM has worked in the community not-for-profit sector in NSW and Western Australia for over 28 years, primarily in management positions with a focus on child protection, homelessness, family violence and children’s services.
Ms Murray has been the chief executive of Wanslea Family Services since 2004. Wanslea provides family support, out of home care and a range of children’s services in metropolitan and regional areas of Western Australia. Prior to that, Ms Murray worked with Anglicare WA for nearly 10 years.
She has a degree in Social Work and a Master of Service Administration, and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Justice of the Peace.
In 2020, Ms Murray was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the community through family social welfare associations.
