Bell Group legislation passed
A New Zealand-based insolvency expert has been put in charge of a new state government authority that will decide how $1.7 billion from the Bell Group litigation will be distributed.
Tony Woodings was part of chartered accounting firm Taylor Woodings which operated as a specialist corporate advisory firm focused on corporate recovery, restructuring, advisory and forensic services. Taylor Woodings was acquired by FTI Consulting in 2013. Mr Woodings was involved in negotiating a minefield of competing interests in the liquidation of the Bell Group of companies.
