Tony Routledge is the co-founder and managing director of privately-owned Perth company AVI which specialises in supplying specialist communication equipment to the defence, security and resource sectors. He jointly established the Myaree-based business in 1989. It now employs more than 60 staff across nine offices, including three in the US and UK. AVI manufactures high assurance, critical communication systems for deployment in harsh and crucial environments.
