Tesla signs up for Liontown lithium
Liontown has struck a five-year lithium concentrate supply deal with electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla.
Tony Ottaviano is a global mining executive with wide-ranging strategic, operational, commercial and corporate experience. He has led global business teams across Australia, UK, Brazil, West Africa and Asia. He works effectively across different cultures and with a wide range of stakeholders including the investor community.
Mr Ottaviano also has experience in mergers & acquisition, business transformation, and value improvement programs in large and complex organisations.
Mr Ottaviano commenced his career as a mechanical engineer in the iron ore division of BHP Billiton and later became senior mechanical engineer at Rio Tinto’s Argyle Diamonds division, a senior manager of business projects at Wesfarmers, and business development manager of North Limited/Rio Tinto. He was appointed chief executive and managing director of Liontown Resources in May 2021.
