Tony Monaghan

Tony Monaghan has more than 29 years of experience in media and communications. He was a television journalist, producer and chief of staff for the ABC, Channel 9 and Channel 7 from 1989 to 2005. In the mid to late 1990s, Mr Monaghan worked in London for two years where he was head of television news for the Mirror Group. From 2005-2008, he was a principal policy advisor to the Premier, chief of staff for a State Government Minister, and advisor to the Minister for Education and Training. Prior to joining The Brand Agency, Mr Monaghan was a senior consultant at Halden Burns which specialised in strategic planning, government relations, corporate communications and crisis management.
