Anthony (Tony) Howarth AO is a prominent Perth-based company director. He has over 30 years of experience in the international banking and finance industry
Mr Howarth was managing director of Challenge Bank, chief executive of Hartleys, chair of Alinta and Home Building Society, deputy chair of the Bank of Queensland, and a non-executive director of AWB and Wesfarmers.
He was also chair of St John of God Health Care, an adjunct professor (financial management) and deputy chair of the UWA Business School board and on the UWA Senate, chair of the Committee for Perth, council member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA, and past president of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In 2002, Mr Howarth was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia for services to business and the community.
