Floods bring freight in focus
Flooding in the Kimberley has affected the community and highlighted the argument for freight network resilience.
Tony Chafer became chief executive of Cambridge Gulf in July 2008. Prior to that, he was chief executive of the Ord Irrigation Co-operative and held management roles at the Water Corporation in various locations throughout the North West of Western Australia. In 2017, Mr Chafer was elected to the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley and was appointed vice president. He is also the director of Gelganyem Investments and a member of the State’s Ord Expansion Projects’ Community Reference Group Task Force.
