Tony Caccamo

Tony Caccamo is one of Western Australia’s most experienced employee relations and employment management professionals, specialising in the resources sector. After many years of senior management positions with Australian Mines and Metals Association (AMMA), including as national operations manager and WA mining manager, Mr Caccamo now contracts his services to AMMA as an IR consultant. He has extensive experience in the provision of consultancy and representation services to AMMA members in the mining, oil and gas, aviation and metal industries, across state and federal tribunals, in agreement negotiations, and the development of strategies for preventing and responding to industrial action. He has particular knowledge and experience within the maritime industry and has represented maritime employers in enterprise bargaining negotiations, dispute resolution and lobbying activities in respect to workers compensation and superannuation legislation. His detailed knowledge of the legislative framework, together with his knowledge of operational requirements of member companies, enables him to provide practical and strategic advice on a wide range of industrial relations and human resource matters. In addition, Mr Caccamo also manages both onshore and offshore construction projects and employee relations matters on a wide range of resource projects. He also has experience in managing project industrial relations and providing guidance and advice on various forms of industrial relations and workplace reform. His industry support activities include lobbying the state and federal governments on employee relations matters impacting on AMMA members.
