Tony Barrass
Former journalist Tony Barrass specialises in advising indigenous businesses and corporations in communications. He is on the board of Kimberley-based Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation. Mr Barrass became a celebrated journalist in 1989 as the first Australian reporter imprisoned for contempt of court for refusing to reveal a confidential source. He served a week in jail and was fined $10,000 rather than reveal his source for a story on the tax affairs of later-disgraced entrepreneur and WA Inc figure Laurie Connell.
