Tom Ridges is a geologist with over 14 years of experience in gold and base metals exploration, project development and mining. Mr Ridges holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology and Environmental) and Master of Science (Mineral Economics).
He became managing director of Great Western Exploration in October 2020. Prior to that, he was the exploration manager of Mineral Resources where he led the team in conducting all exploration, new project evaluation, resource modelling and mine geology. Mr Ridges also spent more than 12 years with Regis Resources where he held senior geology and mine management roles including as geology superintendent and alternate mine manager at Garden Well, and technical manager of NSW.
Mr Ridges is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
