Professor Timothy Carey is a distinguished leader and researcher in psychology and health service delivery.
He has been a Professor and director at the Institute for Global Health Equity Research and Andrew Weiss Chair in Research on Global Health at the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda. In September 2022, Prof Carey joined Curtin University as its new chair of Country Health Research and Innovation, which was formed in November 2021 to support the transformation of the way healthcare is delivered for people living in regional Western Australia.
Prof Carey has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Queensland, a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of St Andrews in Scotland, and a Postgraduate Certificate of Biostatistics from Macquarie University.
