Anderson on Miro advisory panel
NEWLY formed investment-banking player Miro Advisors has named former deputy prime minister John Anderson as a member of a new advisory panel to help it win international business.
Timothy (Tim) Woodall has over 25 years of experience in international M&A and finance within the global oil and gas sector, and held investment banking and senior commercial roles with E&P companies.
Mr Woodall has been the executive commercial director of FAR since September 2019, having joined the company in August 2017 as a non-executive director.
Prior to FAR, Mr Woodall was the managing director of Miro Advisors for over 6 years, chief executive of oil and gas technical consulting firm RISC, and chief financial officer of New Orleans-based intermediate E&P company Energy Partners.
He was also an executive director in the energy division at UBS's London offices where he originated and executed M&A and capital raising transactions for European oil and gas clients, and spent 3 years in the Credit Suisse oil and gas team in New York. Prior to his time in investment banking, Mr Woodall was head of corporate development at Woodside Energy (including coordinating the defence of Shell's hostile takeover attempt in 2000).
He has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide, is a Fellow of the Australian Society of CPAs, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
