Tim Walster became a partner of Corporate Affairs Australia in August 2022.
Prior to that, Mr Walster was the general manager of government relations at Woodside, with additional responsibility for leading corporate affairs support to its new energy & carbon teams. He spent more than fifteen years at the heart of Woodside’s growth agenda, as a senior corporate affairs practitioner, and had led its corporate affairs and government engagement teams. Prior to his career with Woodside, Mr Walster worked for Commonwealth Members of Parliament and Senators, as a Chief of Staff and principal policy advisor in WA State Ministerial offices and in industry associations including the Chamber of Minerals & Energy WA.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master of Arts in Political Science, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and completed INSEAD’s Transition to General Management (TGM) program in 2018.
