Tim Dawkins is a town planner with experience in the public and private sectors in Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. He holds a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Western Australia and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Sydney. He is skilled in most urban planning matters including conducting planning investigations, providing strategic development advice, executing development approval strategies, preparing statutory planning applications and making scheme amendments. Mr Dawkins has delivered a variety of complex projects at Urbis – retail developments, activity centres, student housing, industrial estates and master planned redevelopment areas. He has worked on many projects in metropolitan Perth and regional Western Australia including Dampier Marina, Baldivis Town Centre, Midland Gate Shopping Centre, Gap Ridge Industry Estate and Broome Road Industrial Park. He was the principle author of Part 6 of the R-Codes, and is helping the Department of Planning on a further review of the R-Codes.
