Tim Balston

Tim Balston is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience in providing M&A and strategic advice to clients with a focus on the natural resources sector. He has advised on an extensive range of transactions for a number of leading global natural resources companies and private equity institutions.
Mr Balston joined Azure Capital in October 2019 as a director and became a partner in February 2022. Prior to that, he held positions with Lazard in Perth, Standard Chartered Bank in Sydney, Canaccord Genuity in London, and Deloitte Corporate Finance in Perth.
Mr Balston holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting and Business Law) from the University of Western Australia.
