Terry Holohan is a mining sector executive with more than 40 years of experience in the industry, including 7 years as chief executive of two mining companies, 30 years working in Africa on a range of precious and base metals mining projects, and 10 years working in Asia. He has held various executive and technical positions with a focus on re-engineering a range of precious and base metals mining projects.
Mr Holohan was involved in the design, commissioning and operation of numerous complex metallurgical capital projects in the platinum, nickel, copper, gold, chrome and diamond industries. He was also involved in detailed mine design programs and engineering studies for several open cast and underground mining development operations.
Mr Holohan held senior positions with Platmin Limited including as chief operating officer and head of exploration and development, as senior vice president of Ivanhoe Nickel and Platinum, as business manager for smelting and base metal refining operations at Anglo American Platinum, and with PT Archi Indonesia where he successfully developed and expanded a multi-open pit gold mine from an exploration project to an operational mine.
