Darling Range likely to fall to Labor
WA Labor candidate Hugh Jones looks to have secured the seat of Darling Range, the last remaining Liberal seat in the east metropolitan fortress.
Terry Healy is the Labor Party Member of the Western Australia Legislative Assembly for Southern River.
Following the 2021 state election, Mr Healy became the Parliamentary Secretary to Sue Ellery, the Minister for Education and Training under the McGowan government. In the 2022 cabinet reshuffle, he became the Parliamentary Secretary to Paul Papalia, the Minister for Police; Road Safety; Defence Industry; Veterans Issues.
Following the resignation of Mr McGowan in June 2023, Mr Healy kept the same portfolio as Parliamentary Secretary to Paul Papalia (Minister for Police, Corrective Services, Defence Industry, Veterans Issues) under the Cook government.
Mr Healy is a teacher at Southern River College and Councillor at the City of Gosnells.
