Terry Bowen is an experienced executive and director across a range of diversified industries.
His executive career included being executive director and finance director of Wesfarmers from 2009 to 2017. He had also held various senior executive roles within Wesfarmers including as finance director of Coles, managing director of Industrial and safety, and finance director of Wesfarmers Landmark. He also served as the inaugural chief financial officer of Jetstar Airways from 2003 to 2005 and held senior finance roles over an 11-year career with Tubemakers of Australia.
Since leaving Wesfarmers, Mr Bowen became a managing partner and head of operations at Melbourne-based private equity fund BGH Capital. He transitioned to a part-time role as partner and chair of the operations group in February 2020.
He has also served on the boards of ASX companies BHP, Transurban and Coles Group, education services company Navitas (in which BGH is an investor) and the West Coast Eagles football club. In September 2023, New York-based e-commerce technology company Rokt announced he would be joining in a full-time role but he opted instead to take up a part-time board role.
