
Professor Swee Hin Teoh is the acting chair of the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and also holds a joint appointment with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at the university. Prof Teoh is a Fellow of the Academy of Engineers Singapore, and chief engineer at the Skin Research Institute of Singapore. He received the "Golden Innovation Award" at the Far East Economic Review, and the Institute of Engineers "Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award" in 2004. He was honoured with the Award for "Scientific Life-Time Achievement in Bone Tissue Engineering" at Bone-Tec 2015 in Stuttgart. Prof Teoh is chair of the Singapore Academy, Asia Regulatory Professional Association. He sits in on the board of editors at Tissue Engineering, Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Journal of Mechanical Behaviour of Biomedical Materials, Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Research, and Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers Part H: Journal of Engineering in Medicine.
